POLICY
♦ Preference in admission is given to all the wards of serving,deceased and Ex-BSF personel.
♦ The school also provides admission to Non BSF children from close vicinity.
♦ Admission test is conducted for English, Hindi, Maths and Science out of the syllabus of one class lower only care of admission to higher classes.
♦ Admission form is required to be obtained in advance from the school office and transfer certificate countersigned by appropriate authority of education department is essential for admission in any higher class.
♦ Date of birth certificate issued by the appropriate authority is required for admission in Class KG & I.
Examination & Promotion rules
In each academic session the school holds the followings test following tests / examinations.
(A) Three Unit Tests from class first onwards & quarterly examination for KG classes only.
(B) Half yearly Examination in the month of November.
(C) Pre Board Examination for the board classes in the month of January.
(D) Annual Examination in the month of March.
The final assessment of a pupil for promotion is decided on the basis of annual records.
(A) Class / Home Assignment ‾ 10%
(B) Unit Tests ‾ 20%
(C) Half Yearly Examinations ‾ 20%
(D) Annual Examinations ‾ 50%
(E) Minimum 33% marks in each subject and 35% in aggregate are required for promotion to next higher class.
Other rules
Attendance : The attendance of a student should not be less than 75% in the whole academic session.
Leave : A child may be granted leave in very special case by the Principal. The leave application should be sent to school on the same day or latest by the next day duly signed by the Parent / Guardian of the child . No leave shall be sanctioned during test and examination days except on medical ground for which a medical certificate from competent medical authority has to be produced.
Absence: lf a student remains absent for more than 10 days without any information, his/ her name will be struck off from the roll.
